21 degrees in Sydney today is 5 degrees above the July average with the overnight minimum of 16 just point 2 of a degree cooler than the monthly average maximum temperature. Apart from one cold outbreak during June the month saw little influx of cold air over Queensland, the Northern Territory or Western Australia.
